Dog Leads/Leashes are made from stainless wires, the strongest that can be
purchased So it is double 24ga. 49 strand wire . It is strong, durable and
flexible.  I do not use crimps for closers, as in most beaded work, as crimps
can come undone with pulling. All ends are knotted for strength. I knot both
ends and they are pulled tight with a vice grip. Then they are also double
crimped for extra protection and beauty.
The leash is designed for any size dog and will hold up to pulling. The beaded leads
have a metal trigger snap, gold or silver depending on what the beads look best with.
